Turner Haut is a cinematographer, video editor, photographer, sound designer, and general explorer of visual and auditory art.  He enjoys the simple act of recording something, while trying to find something much deeper in the act of doing so.  He enjoys texture and detail, whether it be from the digital grain of an early 2000s camera phone or the hiss of a cassette tape. He takes inspiration from many experimental artists, sonically and visually; ranging from early British Industrial culture (Throbbing Gristle, Coil, etc.) to the underground experimental films of Kenneth Anger, Stan Brakhage, Richard Kern, and the like.

Turner holds a BFA in Digital Filmmaking and Video Production from the Art Institute of Raleigh-Durham. He currently lives in North Carolina and spends his time completing freelance video and photo work. He is open to video production and photography jobs as well as opportunities to collaborate with other artists.

And he loves cats.
